Use this guide to setup the link checker functions for a website that will be on Managed Hosting with OCG. Websites on Managed Hosting are hosted on WPMU DEV. Refer to Website Managed Hosting Go Live Steps for complete instructions on taking a website live for Managed Hosting.
- Activate the link checker functions
- Click on the Link Checker icon on the websites dashboard on the WMPU DEV dashboard
- Click on the Install button on the Broken Link Checker view.
- Once the initial scan is complete setup the scan schedule.
- Click on the Set up link under Next Scheduled Scan
- In the SCHEDULE DATE tab:
- Select Weekly for the frequency check
- Keep the default day to Sundayt
- Set the default time to 08:00am
- Click on the CONTINUE button
- In the ADD RECIPIENTS tab:
- Select the ADD BY EMAIL sub-tab
- In the Name field enter ‘OCG Link Checker’
- In the Email Address field enter ‘linkchecker@ocgcreative.com
- Click on the ADD RECIPIENT button
- Click on the ACTIVATE button
- Ensure that the Backlinks checker is setup
- Login to linchecker@ocgcreative.com using the credentials in C2 Password and accept the invitation to receive notifications.
