  1. Establish an account in Google Analytics if one doesn’t already exist.
  2. Confirm that tracking code is installed and reporting properly.
  3. Update vTiger by adding the tracking ID to the project detail and check the box, “Tracking Code Installed.”
  4. Establish an account for Google Search Console (formerly: Webmaster Tools) and link it to Google Analytics to ensure that it is reporting actual searched phrases where the client’s website was listed in the SERP.
  5. If the client already has online forms, establish the “thank you” page as a conversion goal. We will most likely replace this with a series of forms that feed vTiger.
  6. If the website is eCommerce, establish the final checkout confirmation as the conversion goal. It is likely that eCommerce websites will have shopping cart goals as well as form fill goals.
