It’s handy for making us look like this big, national agency, but don’t oversell it as a major accomplishment.
The reality is, TopSEORankers makes money by selling ads, so they have a new “Top 10” list coming out all the time.
Strategically, it’s pretty smart. They provide a badge, which, naturally every agency wants to promote on their website. Copying the badge code now provides them with a high quality backlink targeted to “SEO”.
We didn’t put the link on our site for that reason. However, we did get a little traction out of it by bragging a little in some emails.
